He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Edward Davis and Mildred Hazel Spradlin Davis; his daughter Tracy Jo Davis; and his brother Roger L. Davis. He is survived by: his wife Christy Lynn Johnson Davis; his children, Stephen Davis (Jennifer) and Angela Martin (Michael); his sister Cathy Sirek; and his grandchildren, Katie Lawhun (Corey), Joshua Martin, Aaron Martin (Rachel), Haven Davis, Andrew Davis and Wyatt Davis.
