He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Burl Fannin and Rosemary Treat Fannin; and his brother Alan. He is survived by: his wife Amber Bee Cleary; his grandfather Dave; his siblings, Merilee Duncan (Randy), Terry (Betty) and Kevin; and his sister-in-law Betsy Fannin. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
