We bid farewell to Dane R. King Sr. of Wheelersburg, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 25, 2025 at the age of 89. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Dane may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther A. King and Victoria V. Taylor King; his wife Betty Gragg; and his son Robert E. "Bobby" King. He is survived by: his children, Karen Casebolt (Clifton) and Dane R. King, Jr. (Tammy); and his grandsons, Aaron McManus, Andrew McManus and Michael King.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
