She was predeceased by: her parents, Heber Burke and Evelyn Jones Burke; her husband Bobby Bates; her brother Donald Burke; and her grandparents, Bertha Jones and Earl Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Wyatt Bates (Pat) and Cindy Vetter (Greg); her grandchildren, Leigh Ann Boggs (Billy), Lisa Bates, Zach Bates (Sheila), Justin Vetter (Samantha) and Jeremy Vetter; and her great grandchildren, Alex Montavon, Zacayla Bates, Kaylee, Peyton Arthur, Laekyn, Ava Vetter and Grayson Adkins.
