He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bihl and Mildred Turner Bihl of Wheelersburg, OH.; his brother James Russell Bihl; and his son Andrew J. Bihl II. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Bihl (Kinney); his children, Adam Joel Bihl (Lisa) of Mansfield, OH, Beth Anne Bihl of Southfield, MI and Kristi Marie Sanfrey of Fort Wayne, IN; his stepdaughters, Sara Smiddy (Andrew) of Maryville, TN, Erika Henry (Stephen) of Wheelersburg, OH and Katie Peters (Ryan) of Grove City, OH; and his sisters, Mary Lou Barry (Joe) of Exford, OH and Barbara Ann Rhees of Ormond Beach, FL.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Joe's favorite charity was Mercy Home for Boys and Girls in Chicago, IL. Contributions may be made at mercyhome.org in lieu of flowers.
