He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joseph Baer and Virginia Ilene Oiler Baer; his daughter Patrice Baer; and his grandparents, Oscar, Ruby Townsend Baer, James and Kathryn Yeley Oiler.
He is survived by: his sons, Jacob (Rachel Baer) of Minford and Cory (Elisha Allen) of Piketon; his grandsons, Andrew Baer, Elijah Baer, Levi Allen, Lucas Allen and Leeland Allen; his siblings, Amber Baer Barker of Hilliard, Mark (Deborah Brown Baer) and Daniel (Debra Born Baer); his aunt Wilma (Paul Hieneman); and the mother of his children Kathy Spencer Baer of Waverly. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, & cousins.
