He was predeceased by: his former wife Rhoda Chapman; his son Marcus William Chapman; and his brother Everett Arnold Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Myers (Rankin); his children, James "Sam" Chapman of Weston and Joyce Sarver (Randy) of Woodville; his stepchildren, Vicki Ott (Larry) of Bridgeman, Michigan, Cindy Rhew (Phillip) of Michigan and Steve Myers (Veronica) of Bridgeman, Michigan; his grandchildren, Heather, Jill, Chris, Aaron and Samantha; and his great grandchild Marcus.
