He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nicholson and Anna Nicholson (Pruden); and his children, Steve Roberts, Jim Nicholson and Ruby Black.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Nicholson (Fortney); and his children, Jeanne Kniffen (Tim) of Bowling Green, Vicki Smith (Bob) of Bowling Green, Lisa Austin (Todd) of Bowling Green, Jo-Anna Hinojosa (Rick) of Weston, Shelly Coffman (Barry) of Tompkinsville, KY, Debbie Heistand (Gary) of Tecumseh, MI, D. J. Roberts of Louisville, KY, Tim Roberts (Colleen) of Glasgow, KY and Rod Roberts (Edna) of Shepherdsville, KY. He is also survived by 38 Grandchildren, 65 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
