He was predeceased by: his child Rommel; his grandson Angelo; his parents, Vicente and Luisa; and his siblings, Aurora, Pablo, Agaton and Lily.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Gloria Garcia; his children, Susan, Dr. Ronald (Jenny), Gigi Ortiz (Eugene Ortiz), Rico (Ayeth), Rowen (Michael Schuenemeyer), Romeo Jr. (Maria) and Reggie (Gina); his grandchildren, Patrick (Hanna), Andrew (Robin) of Mikey, J. V., Jojo, Johnny, Christina, Theresa, Katrina, Paul, Jayjay, Chris (Beth), Isabel, Alex and Matthew; and his great grandchild Aiden.
