He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemarie; his daughter Susanna; his stepson Carl Pfahl; and his sister Patricia Gardner. He is survived by: his children, Linda Kane (Gary Stewart), Robert, Jr. (Patti), Mary Welles (Timothy), Christopher (Karen), Daniel (Melissa) and James (Bridget); his stepdaughter Heidi Clark (John); and his siblings, Margaret Charlton, Kathleen Forrestal, Kevin and Gerald.
Funeral Mass Wednesday, Dec. 23, St. Brendan Church (4242 Brendan Ln.) at 12 Noon. (where social distancing will be observed and face masks required).
