He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Sima and Albert Sima; and his child Andrea Cortes. He is survived by: his close friend Lynn Hudson; his siblings, Patricia Schompert (Shawn), Richard (Mercia) and David (Rose); his nieces and nephews, Richie, Bryan, Kaleigh Heller (Jackson), Nick and Tyler; his great-niece Lola; his daughters, Angela Cortes and Jennifer Hudson; his grandchildren, Ricky Londo (Lizzie), Nevaeh and Tyler Wisniewski; and his child Lion.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home of Westlake (25620 Center Ridge Rd, Westlake, OH 44145). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine Church (2486 W 14th St, Cleveland, OH 44113).
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to St. Augustine Church.
