He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell W. Schelkle and Josephine Schelkle (Milter); and his son Christopher Schelkle. He is survived by: his significant other Doris Coudret; his daughter Deborah Desmond (Timothy); his grandchildren, Brannigan Shipley and Tyler Shipley (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Taylor Shipley, Caden Shipley and Colton Shipley; and his nephew Scott Underwood (Tonya).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
