She is survived by: her daughters, Zeytavia, Alessa Tate, Maria Tate-Dickson (Gary Dickson) and Teresa Blanchard (Erin Blanchard); her grandchildren, Sabino Tate, Remona Taylor (Raymell Taylor) and Angelaca Tate- (DeSean Washington) of Washington; and her sisters, Martha Carpenter and Helen Spencer. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
