He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Tidyman, Sr. and Marie Tidyman; and his brother Robert E. Tidyman, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Annabelle Lee Tidyman; his siblings, Paul F. of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Kathryn M., James R. of St. Johnsbury, Vt., David A. and Richard S. of Boone, N. C.; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by eight nephews and nieces; and 10 grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
Asked before his death about donations to a cause he supported, he vehemently exclaimed, "Nothin'! No way, no how!".
