He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine M. Hoy and John J. Hoy; and his brother Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Marge" (Dorko); his children, Mary Pat Ellert (Bill), Kathleen Bennett (Lanny), John G. (Loretta), Michael G., Joseph G., Peg Osborne (Gary), Loretta Sexton, Richard G. (Tammy) and Robert G.; his stepchildren, Christine Young (late Bill), Carolynn Jasko (James) and James Dorko (Heather); his grandchildren, Jessica Brophy (Chris), Corinne Byers (Kevin), Kat Hoy (Justin Cumming), James Adams (Megan), Sean Hoy, Meghan Ellert (Vinny), Gannon Ellert, Derek Osborne, Bridget Ellert, Marilyn Sexton, Jack Osborne, Ivan Sexton, Rogan, Evan and Brenna Hoy; and his siblings, Daniel (Ellen), Jeanne Frances, Terry (Donna) and James (Linda).
