It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Karr Jr. in Westlake, Ohio, who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Karr and Cecelia Karr; and his siblings, Virginia Dougherty, Robert Karr and Paul Karr.
He is survived by: his sister Barbara Johnston; his wife Frances Ptak; his children, Barbara Cagley (Thomas), James Karr (Sandra), Mary Doerge (William), Laurette Maddock (Todd), Mark Karr (Lynne), Christopher Karr and Kevin Karr (Jill); his grandchildren, Meghan, Alison, Sterling, Aaron, Caralyn, William, Michael, Jacob, Colin, Ian, Olivia, Nathan, Rebecca, Logan, Alexandra, Jared and Riley; and his great grandchildren, Warren, Henry, Ada, Ari, Georgia, Delilah and Mathew.
