He was predeceased by: his father William "Bill" O'Connor. He is survived by: his wife Magda Gomez; his children, Lissette Gomez and Brian Gomez; his mother Janice O'Connor; his sister Anne Slucky (Alex); his niece Katherine; and his nephew Peter Slucky.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.

Jim was an extremely bright, genuine, intentional, honest, hard working and good man. He truly will be missed in this world but his life and the way he lived it should be celebrated.
