Eugene Ernest Miller Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Ernest Miller (Westlake, Ohio), born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene Ernest Miller to pay them a last tribute.

Devoted husband of Margaret (nee Kelly-deceased), beloved father of Amy Keane (Peter) of Austin and Cara Motelka (Honza) of Westlake, cherished grandfather of Sofia and Charlotte Motelka and Eamonn Keane, brother to Rita Grossman (deceased), Dora Schmidtt (deceased), Robert (Bob) Miller (deceased), brother-n-law to MaryEllen McLaughlin-Herouvis and George Herouvis and Michael and Linda Kelly, and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Gene was a retired professor of English Literature at Albion College, much admired for his empathy, intellect, sense of humor and devotion to his wife and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve orJoseph's Home.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 30th, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Luke Catholic Church (1212 Bunts Road, Lakewood, Ohio 44107). The burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142) directly following the Mass. Please join us for a luncheon immediately after the interment at the Regency Racquet & Swim Club (2070 King James Parkway, Cleveland, Ohio 44145) from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM .
