He is survived by: his children, Rosalie Yates (William), Donna Fugleberg (Ryan), Jacqueline Niznik, Pauline Niznik, Margaret Poole (Edward), John Niznik (Stacey) and Joseph Niznik; and his siblings, Martha Niznik and Gerald Niznik.
