He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Francis Monroe and Mary O'Neill Monroe; his siblings, Robert F. Jr., Michael J. (Laura Davis), Mary C. "Kate" Straub (Michael), Gerald A. (Coleen Kelley) and John P.; his nieces and nephews, Erin Barry (Ryan Vopat), Casey Jastromb (Rob), Brendan Barry, Elizabeth, Anne (Michael Daly) and Grace; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Connor, Crew Jastromb and Charlie Vopat.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to AM 1260.
