He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise (Bowman); and his parents, Charles Fredric and Matilda Ensign (Lauer). He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Hanson (Dave), Linda Guentert (Jim), Jean Bemis (Guy) and Bill Ensign (Theresa); and his brothers, Jim Ensign (Cathy) and John Ensign.
