He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helen; his children, Wendy Sales (Adrian), Jill Martin (Richard), Jami Gray (David) and Charles Scott Shaffer; his grandchildren, Elena, Samuel, Matthew, Jessica, Richard, Jacob, Rebecca, Corey, Camden and Josh; and his great grandchildren, Angela, Isaac, Atom, Richard and Ryan.
