He is survived by: his spouse Shirley of Peter's Episcopal Church; his children, David (Donna), Laurel Bender (late Philip), Susan Farquhar and Paul (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Jonathan (Caryn), William (Maresa), Andrew (Amanda), Kathryn (Cody), Jennifer (John Paul), Mathew (Joss), Kimberly (James), Michelle (Adam), James, Michael (Megan), Christine (Joseph), Nicholas (Elizaveta) and Elizabeth (Austin); and his sisters, Rosemary and Linda.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of Carl to St. Peter Episcopal Church, Rector's Discretionary Fund.
