He was predeceased by: his brother Leonard; and his parents, Richard J. McGraw and Karen McGraw. He is survived by: his wife Mary Haas; his children, Marie, Tom (Libby) and Karen; his granddaughter Charlotte Ann; his siblings, Kathleen McGraw (Rich Timpone), Daniel, Sheila Mapes (Craig), Mark, Mary Delaney (Patrick), Mora, Sharon, Susan, Sandy, Theresa, Michael and Jeffrey; and his brothers-in-law, Harry, Charles and James Haas.
