He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sylvia; his children, Mamie Crawford (Raymond), Carmela Stann (Richard), Luke, Travis, Philip, David, Stephen and Henry; and his siblings, Joe Amato, Rosalia Ferrera and Dino Amato.
