He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis McGuire and Mary Ann McGuire; his brother Theodore McGuire; his brother-in-law Allen James Lowe; and his nephew Henry McCann.

He is survived by: his wife Suzanne McGuire; his daughters, Erin Budic (Jeff), Laura McGuire and Shannon McGuire (Aaron Clark); his grandchildren, Julia, Emma, Josephine, Evelyn, Aubrie, Jaxon, Aiden and Zoe; and his siblings, Sue Lemon, Mollie Lowe, Laurie Yeo (Bill), Nancy Wade (Paul), John McGuire (Jeanne), James McGuire (Shannon) and Kathryn McCann (Peter).
