He was predeceased by: his parents, David Neely Backus and Cleo Anita Backus (Roberts). He is survived by: his wife Linda Kathleen Backus (Barth); and his sisters, Lois B. Jacob of Fredericksburg, VA and Kristen N. Backus of Longwood, FL.. He is also survived by nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Westerville (41 W College Ave, Westerville, OH 43081). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
