She was predeceased by: her father Maynard Grooms (Dorothy); and her sister Jane Birchfield (Bill). She is survived by: her mother Georgia Bowers (Tom); her sons, Steve Cowans (Terry), Keith Cowans (Teri) and Jeff Cowans (Marsha); and her sister Gail Powers (Mike). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
