He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bancroft (Dugan) and Thomas Vaughn Bancroft (T. V.). He is survived by: his daughter Ann Bancroft (David Johnson); and his granddaughter Addison Vaughn Johnson.
He received special recognition for his contribution to teaching colorful language while driving his granddaughter home from school.
