She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fortner and Shirley Fortner; and her siblings, Marilyn Fortner, Naomi Schmitt, Sharon Parker, Richard, John and James.
She is survived by: her son Joshua Brown; her sister Becky Poling; and her brother-in-law Roger Schmitt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
