He was predeceased by: his father Roland Torrence; his former wife Naomi Torrence; his wife Marilyn Torrence; and his siblings, Jack, Gene Torrence, Darleen "Cookie" Cassidy and Aileen "Sally" Caldwell.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Richard Torrence, Hilliard, Kim Lowery (Rodney) and Deanna Thompson (Tim); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Paul, Natalie Thompson, Kassie, Zach Lowery, Joshua and Nathan Kem; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Zoey; and his siblings, James Torrence (Maryann), Marleen Sheppard (Chuck) and Kathleen Morris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
