He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephen Copeland and Kathryn Copeland; his wife Betty Copeland; and his children, Steve Copeland, Beth Baker (Ron) and Christy Orr (Joe). He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
