We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2022, at the age of 75, Linda I. Scherer of Westerville, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harold and Lena Hamilton (Damron); her husband Roger M. Scherer; her siblings, Fred Hamilton, Byron Hamilton and June Muncy (Thurman); her brothers-in-law, Paul Shriner and Lee Gier; and also, Tom Peckham, Art Pickelheimer, Gary Scherer, Pat Scherer, Alice Scherer, Mark Scherer, Sandra Scherer and James Scherer.
She is survived by: her children, R. Brian Scherer (Candace), Michelle Jump (Jon) and Brandon Scherer (Laura); her grandchildren, Kira, Alex, Joel (Jessica), Brianna (Nick), Olivia, Abigail, Louis, Eliza and Sylvia; her sister Karen Shriner-Gier; her sisters-in-law, Ann Hamilton and Kathy Hamilton-Hussell; and also, Carol Peckham, Donna Pickelheimer, Ray Scherer (Darlene), Sue Burnside (Randy), Joe Scherer (Carol), Diane Lodwick (Greg), Dean Scherer (Gail), Rick Scherer, Danny Scherer (Debbie), Lynne Webb (Curt) and Ann Bartlett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID, masks are required for all services at the funeral home and the church.
