He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilyn; his children, Vicki Lou Woltz (Jeffrey) and Randy Lee Mapes (Rochelle); his grandchildren, Michael Woltz (Mindy) and Kimberly Cleaver (Jerry); his great grandchildren, Emmy, Lela, Max Woltz, Brendan and Ethan Cleaver; and his siblings, Ann Dobbins (Mapes) and Steven Mapes (Pam).
