He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta (Castle); his parents, Holbert Holstein and Dollie Holstein; his sister-in-law Wilma Holstein (Tuckwin); his sons-in-law, Emory "Bossy" Underwood and Jim Lenegar; and his nephew Jimmy Holstein.
He is survived by: his children, Drema Holstein-Lenegar of Westerville, Debra Underwood of Nashville, TN, Cindy Whitt (Tony) of Inez, KY and Leonard Holstein Jr. (Kim) of Johnstown; and his brother James Holstein. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
