He was predeceased by: his father William L. Tawney; and his brothers, Okey and Donald Tawney. He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Tawney (Mercer); his daughters, Julia (John Eberhart), Kate (Dwight Thompson), Lorie (Robert Trott) and Cynnie (Heath Loggins); his stepchildren, Gretchen, Brian Mack of Clayton, NC and Judson Young of Grove City; and his brothers, Lawrence (Edna Tawney) and Bill (Bonnie Tawney). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
