He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Owen and Lois Owen; and his siblings, Dan Owen and Beverly Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Chris; his daughters, Jenny Bertagna (Nick) and Emily Fox (Aaron); and his grandchildren, Dominic and Anthony.
