He is survived by: his parents, James Neil and Peggy Joyce Kern (Page); his children, Lily and Luke; his siblings, Kim Ballinger, Kathy Destadio (Jim) and K. C. Kern (Shery); and his close friend Dave Penrod. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
