He is survived by: his father James Ankrom Sr.; his brother John; his mother Mary Ann Ankrom of Columbus; and his siblings, Julie Ankrom of Columbus, Catherine Anderson (Alan) of Cana and James Ankrom Jr. (Tina) of Galena. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Joe's family requests a donation to a charity of your choice, or to the American Diabetes Association.
