He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burke and Mary Burke; and his granddaughter Crystal Burke. He is survived by: his wife Millie; his children, John Deerwester (Laura), Scott Burke, Angie Hess (Bill) and Missy Dotson (Jay); his grandchildren, Scott Jr., Allison, Sophia, Reese and Roman; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Theo, Trey and Rae'Lyn; and his brother Tom Burke (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Kobacker House - Ohio Health Hospice in John's memory.
