He was predeceased by: his son Michael Shaw; his parents, Clarence "Toot" Shaw and Florence Shaw; and his siblings, John Shaw and Betty Bumgartner.

He is survived by: his wife Mickey; his sons, Rob McInerney (Sandy) and Steve McInerney (Kathy); his grandchildren, Whitney, Derek Shaw, Clay (Anya), Matt and Sam McInerney (Kennedy); and his sister Sue Ziegler.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moreland Funeral Home (55 E Schrock Rd, Westerville, OH 43081). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
