He was predeceased by: his brother Stan King. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, William King and Linda Contakis (Tony); his grandchildren, Jimmy and Kami Contakis; his sisters, Karen Bardo (Mike) of Salem, OH, Marianne Buck (Greg) of Beloit, OH and Sarah Kelly (Terry) of Beloit, OH; his siblings-in-law, Ruth King Carey (Dana) of Mogadore, OH, Alice Umbstaetter, Nancy Maben (Jim) and Paul Chambers (Elyse); and his close friends, Phil and Donna Bolon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
