He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Miller; his children, Suzanne R. Kirkpatrick of Columbus and James D. Kirkpatrick (Nicole J. Kirkpatrick) of Lima; his grandchildren, Austin D. Smith, Aaron Kirkpatrick and Jordan Kirkpatrick; his stepgrandsons, Collin F. Underwood and Dillon R. Underwood; and his brother John Kirkpatrick of Columbus. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
