He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Myers, Sr. and Marjorie Idabell Myers; and his wife Elizabeth Wray Myers. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Feasel (Tarra), Patrick Myers (Terri) and May Pennington (Doug); and his grandchildren, Sheely Crawford (Lindsay Kelly), Molly Bivens (Chris), Maxwell Myers, Mackenzie Feasel and Abigail Feasel. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
