He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Cy" Lane and Consuello "Lulu" Lane; his sister Betty Thomas Lane; his uncle David Raymond Lane; and also, Henry and Sylvia Dolezal.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Dolezal Lane; his son Jack Jay Lane (Megan); and his pet Molly.
