He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Ritins; his sister Ligita Ritins Stubis; his children, Jeffrey Ilmars Ritins, Jennifer Ziegler (James) and Jane Coleman-Porter (Bruce); and his grandchildren, Jimmy, Jake, Jessica, John, Brooke and Emily.
