He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Hodges and Anna S. Hodges (Butler); and his siblings, Vernon Kendrick, Harlan Reno and Gwendolyn LaVerne Conner.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Hodges Dunaway Westerville (Gary) of Ohio, Vernon Hodges Westerville and Sandra Hodges Angat of Tusayan, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Carrie Dunaway, Tiffanie Ladin, Sally Dunaway Young, Jeremiah Cardellio and Christiana Schroeder.
