He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Plantz (Erwin) and Arthur Plantz of Marion; and his siblings, Barbara Snare of Marion, Patricia Plantz of Marion and Arthur Plantz, Jr. of Hilliard.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie (Brown); his children, Jayson Howard Plantz (Summer) and Julie Hedrick (Christopher); his grandchildren, Alexandre Hedrick, Avamarie Hedrick and Vivianne Plantz; and his sisters, Shirley Dietsch and Sharon Plantz of Marion. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family members.
