She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Horne and Treva Horne; her son William Billy Byers; her husband Charles Chuck Byers; and her sister Janice Butts.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Steele (Byers) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Glennda Daniels (Brian) of Centerburg and Darren Steele (Jacqueline) of Johnstown; her great grandchildren, Austin Daniels (Makenna), Lindsey Daniels, Savannah Steele, Allison Steele, Owen Daniels and Della Daniels; and her friends, Jerry Happ and Colette Alewine.
