He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph A. McNeal and Florence Marie McNeal (Hancock); his son Shawn Michael McNeal; and his siblings, Patrick McNeal, Carla McNeal and Kathy McNeal.

He is survived by: his son Anthony McNeal of Westerville; and his grandchildren, Ariana Jessie of Arizona and Jadyn Gire of Columbus, Ohio..
